Do you deliver beers, spirits and soft drinks?
No, we only sell wine.
Do you stock other items which are not shown on your website?
Yes. Some items which we stock (such as one-off parcels and unusual bottle sizes) are in limited supply and not listed on our website. Feel free to contact our office with your specific questions.
There's a particular wine I'm looking to buy. Can you get it for me?
Unfortunately, we are unable to order small amounts of particular wines which we don't normally stock for one-off orders. However, our office staff are very knowledgeable, and will be very happy to help you choose an alternative wine from our range according to your chosen style and budget.
My order is a gift. Can I include a gift message?
Yes. Simply enter your message in the box provided when completing your order, and your message will be delivered to your recipient along with their wine.
Can I arrange a specific date and time for my wine to be delivered?
When you complete your order, the team at the office will contact you within 24 hours to arrange a convenient delivery slot. If you have specific requirements please tell us in the box provided when completing your order.
What if the contents are broken?
We're happy to refund any product which is received broken. Please contact us directly on 0141 8820039 or email enquiries@alexander-wines.co.uk within 7 days of receipt of your order and we will make the necessary arrangements to refund the broken product as soon as possible following our agreement to do so.
I bought a bottle that was advertised as a specific year but you've sent me another vintage
By its very nature, wine is a product in a finite supply and vintages can often run out or be replaced at very short notice. We always endeavour to keep the information on the website up to date but we do reserve the right to send out different vintages from the ones advertised without notice. If you are especially keen on a specific vintage, please do call us on 0141 8820039 beforehand.
How will I know if a wine I have ordered is out of stock?
Very occasionally we may run out of a particular wine without notice. Should this be the case we will be in contact to advise on when it will be back in stock and recommend an alternative if required.
