Established in 1981 Alexander Wines is independently owned and operated by Fraser Alexander and a team consisting of 9 full-time and 1 part-time member of staff. As a company we pride ourselves on offering exceptional, personalised service to all our customers.

Fraser developed a passion for wine working in the picturesque vineyards of Baden, Germany, in the late 70’s. In establishing his own company Fraser was determined to champion the regional wines of small, quality conscious wineries dedicated to producing wines of true varietal character.

Now in our 26th year of supplying some of Scotland’s top hotels and restaurants it is refreshing to know that these values are still relevant with many of the relationships forged back then still as strong today.

Our portfolio, much of which is shipped direct, ensures that we can meet the needs of even the most demanding wine list. Our dynamic team of 10 employees are both passionate and knowledgeable about wine and the drinks industry. Currently all the office staff has either completed or currently is undertaking the level 4 WSET diploma.
