Paul joined Alexander Wines in May 2006 having completed a degree in Hospitality Management and a Masters in Management Studies.

With a background working in bars and restaurants as a student his first foray into the wine trade came after graduation, working for the local Oddbins in Aberdeen before moving to Glasgow in 2004. A subsequent spell at Peckhams together with completing the intermediate and advanced WSET certificates has ensured a solid grounding in all things vinious.

Currently Paul is based in the office and deals primarily with orders and stock control whilst maintaining the company website and co-ordinating all marketing activities.

Kirsty joined Alexander Wines in early 2005 with a degree in Art History from Glasgow University and with a varied background in the hospitality industry. To finance her degree, she worked in several restaurants both in Scotland and in Canada and through this, she developed a passion for food and wine. Her interest in wine was enhanced by a year spent in Australia, working, travelling and sampling some of Australia’s finest liquid offerings! On her return, she decided to leave the restaurant trade behind and pursue her passion for wine on a professional level – and the rest is history!

Kirsty has recently made the move into sales and now represents customers in the West End of Glasgow and the West Coast of Scotland.

Away from work, she enjoys cooking and entertaining. Currently, however, she has little time for these as she is in the final stages of studying for her WSET diploma, which she hopes to have under her belt by the end of this year.
