Background:

Born in 1993 and nestled in the foothills of the Pyranees, Bodega Pirineos has established itself as a leading producer in the Somontano D.O and is very much a part of Spain’s so called ‘new wave’ of wine producers. Key to the success of the bodega has been their commitment to producing wine that bears the hallmark of its origins while exploring the richness and diverse viticulture the area offers.

The Wines:

Innovation and tradition combine with the cool climate of the region to produce fresh lively whites, warming reds and simply stunning roses. However, what really makes these wines stand out from the crowd is the use of the indigenous Moristel and Parraleta varieties, native only to the Somontano region (Bodegas Pirineos have made it their raison d'etre to bring these more unusual varieties to the world at large).
