About Two Rivers of Marlborough

Two Rivers of Marlborough Winery takes its name from the iconic rivers that feed the winegrowing heart of Marlborough’s renowned Wairau and Awatere valleys. The winery was founded in 2004 by local boy David Clouston. David’s local knowledge of the region has allowed him to select the most interesting vineyard sites in the Wairau and Awatere valleys to select his fruit. He takes particular interest in soils, climate, orientation and the grower’s viticulture philosophy to select his growing partners. Selecting his fruit from the best terroirs of the two valleys of the Marlborough region allows David to craft wines of complexity, depth and elegance. The combination of experience, heritage and craftsmanship is evident in these complex but elegant, fruit-driven wines that are the Two Rivers of Marlborough range.
