About Simon Hackett Wines

Born in the Barossa Valley, Simon Hackett grew up in a family resonating in agricultural history, the family home was situated next to the Saltram Winery at Angaston. Starting in the wine trade at the age of 18, Simon established his own boutique winery in 1984, on a hill overlooking the beautiful McLaren Vale, producing a range of rich, bold, innovative wines. Yields are often very small and his entire annual production rarely exceeds 10,000 cases. Simon Hackett`s wines are the very essence of the winemaker himself – timelessly packaged, friendly and full of life.
